Chandrettan Evideya- Song Review
The soundtrack of ‘Chandrettan Evideya’ may seem short with just two songs but they do demonstrate the engaging music score.
Music composer Prashant Pillai has done a good job. The song, ‘Kinavin Kilikal’ has used the best mix of guitars and folk percussion and the superb rendition by Shreekumar Vakkiyil has uplifted this song to higher levels.
However, the other song, ‘Vasantha Mallike’ takes the cake. A heady mix of classical and modern instruments with the lines ably rendered by Haricharan and Preethi Pillai, makes this song the better of the two. Santhosh Varma has composed the lyrics.
Chandrettan Evideya- Audience Review
Actor turned director, Sidharth Bharathan has come out with a comedy flick this time round with ‘Chandrettan Evideya’. An entertainer, the story revolves around an extra marital affair but has given a hilarious touch to it. This has turned the movie into a light hearted comic flick.
A situational comedy, the hilarious moments are created out of events, situations, characters rather than through slapstick comedy. The lead star, Dileep has dished out the comedy in a different manner. Genuine laughter is evoked from the audience as they watch serious issues tackled in a humorous way.
Chandrettan Evideya- Box Office Prediction
‘Chandrettan Evideya’, the directorial venture from Siddharth Bharathan will be quite different from his earlier films. The story deals with a hilarious situation of an ordinary family man and his over possessive wife and a young lady who comes into their lives.
The movie is supposed to depict the extra marital affair which the hero gets into unwittingly in a very hilarious manner. Actor Dileep, who is the ‘king of comedy’ has enacted well in this situational comedy film. The movie is scripted by the renowned Kerala Sahitya Akademi award winner, Santhosh Echikkanam who is sure to create magic with the movie.
Only time will tell the results on the box-office!
